During a gas safety inspection we carry out a number of checks, these include:
Carrying out visual safety checks on all gas appliances in the property
Servicing the gas boiler or water heater
Checking the flue gas emissions to make sure they are correct/safe
Looking at the installations compliance with gas regulations
Checks on the safe operation of the system and any safety devices
Testing of the carbon monoxide alarms, checking if they are in date
Issuing warning notices for any safety-related faults with the gas supply system or appliances
Cleaning the heating system filter (if present)
Issuing a CP12 gas safety certificate for compliance with regulations
